Black Bo's Bar

Some people call it Bohemian, some call it Leftfield, others call it rustic, alternative, quaint, eclectic, esoteric or simply - ' That Really Nice Place We Went To 6 Months Ago And Have Never Been Able To Find Again'.

We like to call it what it is : A Bar, A Bloody Good Bar, A Damned Fine Bar - A Bar that for whatever reason - no matter where they're from or what they do, people walk in the door and think 'Cool, We Like This Place'

And why do they like this place? It could be the beer? We do after all have Scottish Beer, Polish Beer, Czech Beer, German, Russian,  Dutch, French, Australian and Chinese Beer!

Is it the 22 Different Whiskies or assorted Rums,Gins, Tequilas or Bourbons we can tempt you with? Or perhaps the Fine Wines, Liquors or the huge assortment of fruit juices and ever changing and often hilarious assortment of snacks on offer?

Then of course there's our cheeky little Beer Garden - bursting with charm!  - a veritable haven for escapees from the High Street - relaxing of a summers evening (Edinburgh does get them sometimes - honest)!

Perhaps its our musical tastes people like? Tom Waits to Thom Yorke, Frank Sinatra to Frank Black, Chuck Berry to Chuck D, - Soul, Funk, Electro, Blues, Country, Folk, Swing or old fashioned Rock and Roll. - If music be the food of love, play on - so we do!

It could be any one or all of these reasons but basically its about you the people - from all corners of the World and all walks of life! - People always come back to Bo's.

Enduring friendships have been formed, great love affairs have blossomed, deals sealed and the odd heart broken - but new lives created!

Someone once said there's no such thing as society - she was wrong - she'd just never been to Black Bo's!
